Find out more about the incredible wildlife at Rye Harbour with the Trust’s expert guide, James Duncan, leading an Introduction to Birdwatching on Friday 27 September. Conveniently, it’s also our Opticron Optics event that day, so you can try out a range of binoculars and telescopes with professional advice on hand at the Discovery Centre. Discover dazzling insects too, in our Dragonfly and Damselfly Guided Walk on Monday 30 September.

If you love nature-inspired arts and crafts, you'll enjoy our first Painted China Workshop, inspired by insects and seedheads, with local artist Elaine Baker, on Sunday 29 September.

Don’t miss our popular Pie and Mash Evening with a View on Saturday 28 September. Bring your friends and family along to enjoy a locally-made pie in front of stunning scenery, as the sun sets, and spot some birds too.
Our next family event day is also on Saturday 28 September, when our activity leader Alice will be combining fun outdoor activities with nature learning on our morning Guided Play Trail.
Look out for more events before Christmas too, we’re planning winter crafts, a migratory bird walk, a special wading birds course and our Festive Makers Market.
